About these terms

These terms apply to the SVG to PNG converter at topng.app. By using ToPNG, you agree to these terms.

Converted PNGs are free for commercial use. You can use them for websites, ads, product packaging and other commercial purposes. Conversion is free, no paid plan is required, and you do not have to credit ToPNG.

You are responsible for confirming the copyright and permissions for your source SVG. This includes any images, fonts, logos or other third-party material it contains. Only convert and use content that you own or are authorized to use for your intended purpose.

Converting SVG to PNG does not change the source file's license or remove restrictions imposed by its rights holder. A source marked “non-commercial” does not become available for commercial use simply because it has been converted. Any attribution or other obligations in the source license still apply.

Your files and ownership

You retain the rights you hold in your artwork. ToPNG does not claim ownership of your SVGs or converted PNGs, and you do not grant us a license to publish, distribute or sell them by using the converter.

The converter processes files locally in your browser without uploading their contents to our servers. Download any results you want to keep before leaving or reloading the page; ToPNG does not provide cloud storage or file recovery.

Using the converter

ToPNG supports SVG to transparent PNG and SVG to high definition PNG conversion. You can select 1×, 2×, 3× or a custom width, with a maximum of 4096 pixels per side. Each source SVG can be up to 5 MB.

Background removal detects supported inline backgrounds and simple full-canvas rectangles. Complex backgrounds may require editing in a vector editor. External resources and embedded HTML are not supported. Check the downloaded image before using it, especially when fonts or embedded raster images are involved.

Do not use the site to infringe others' rights, distribute malicious code, disrupt the service or gain unauthorized access to systems.

Availability and responsibility

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every SVG will render exactly as it does in another application. Keep a copy of your source files and review your exports.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, ToPNG is not liable for indirect losses caused by service interruptions, conversion errors or use of files without the necessary rights. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
